What it is
This skill lets your AI assistant operate Google NotebookLM (now called Gemini Notebook) on your behalf. It creates notebooks, loads in your links, PDFs, and videos, asks grounded questions with citations, and runs deep web research. It can also generate and download NotebookLM outputs like audio podcasts, videos, slide decks, reports, quizzes, flashcards, and mind maps.
What it does
- Creates notebooks and adds sources such as web links, documents, and YouTube videos
- Answers questions using only your sources, with citations back to them
- Runs fast or deep web research on a topic and imports the results as sources
- Generates audio podcasts, videos, slide decks, reports, mind maps, quizzes, and flashcards
- Downloads the finished files to your computer
Use it when
- You want a podcast-style audio overview of a stack of articles or reports
- You need to research a topic across many sources and get cited answers
- You're turning course or training material into quizzes and flashcards
- You use NotebookLM a lot and want your AI assistant to do the clicking for you
Add this skill to your AI
