What it is
Distilly turns messages, documents, emails, and interviews about a person into a reusable profile your AI assistant can use. It is pitched at keeping a departing colleague's playbook and judgment, studying how a public figure thinks, or teaching your own assistant who you are. Each profile is built from the source material you provide and can be updated or corrected over time.
What it does
- Builds a profile of your own preferences so a personal AI assistant knows who it works for
- Captures a colleague's workflows, standards, and communication style from their messages and docs
- Researches a public figure's views and ways of thinking from public sources
- Imports PDFs, screenshots, email exports, and chat history from Slack, Lark, or WeChat
- Lets you add new material or correct a profile later, and roll back changes
Use it when
- A teammate is leaving and you want to keep their know-how and context
- You want your AI assistant to understand your role, style, and priorities
- You want to ask how a favorite author or thinker might approach your question
- You are handing over a project and want the knowledge captured in one place
