Definition
An agent skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file that an AI agent reads when it needs to perform a specific task. Think of it as a domain expert's playbook the AI loads on demand. Skills are how you give your AI specialized knowledge without retraining it: drop in a skill for "writing cold emails like Corey Haines" or "drafting PRDs like Pawel Huryn" and your agent suddenly knows what those experts know. Skills work across coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Windsurf) and consumer agents (Claude.ai). The format is open — see agentskills.io for the spec. This site is a curated directory of skills aimed at non-developers.
