- Searches Brave's news index for articles on any topic you specify
- Filters results by freshness (past day, week, month, year, or custom date range)
- Returns article titles, URLs, descriptions, publication dates, and thumbnails
- Allows filtering by country, language, and content safety settings
- Supports custom source ranking to prioritize or exclude specific news outlets
Defuddle
- Removes ads, navigation, and clutter from any web page
- Extracts clean article text in a note-friendly format
- Pulls out key metadata like title, description, and domain
- Saves cleaned content to files for later reference
